In memory of our cherished colleague and friend, Rodney Gifford.
Rodney was more than a Material Estimator at PetraBee—he was a cornerstone of our team and a mentor to many. With over 50 years of experience in the construction industry, his expertise spanned from gas and electric utilities to home construction in Leadville and Montrose, Colorado. Since joining PetraBee in 2015, Rodney’s wisdom and dedication have been integral to our projects and culture.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rodney was the embodiment of resilience and versatility. An avid outdoorsman, he found joy in hunting, boating, hiking, and skiing—always ready for the next adventure. His spirit and strength were such that we often joked he’d be the first person we’d want by our side during a zombie apocalypse.
Rodney’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the knowledge he shared, and the indelible mark he left on PetraBee. He is deeply missed and forever remembered.
